Who We Are
“I learned to drive nearly 60 years ago, on one of the family farm in Scotland, in an early Land Rover. The seats didn't move so the farm hands used to wedge me forward with wellies! When I was about 11, my father used to let me out on the road in The Highlands, driving his 1928 4½ Bentley with a cone clutch and no synchromesh! Thus began a lifelong fascination with cars.
I have been lucky enough to own many beautiful machines and privileged to drive many more, both on road and track, I have competed for many years in a number of different racing formulas; these include everything from VSCC to WTC. I have also been a shareholder in a number of motor dealerships including Ferrari, Porsche, Honda, and several BMW outlets. I believe we have a very good understanding of what owners of prestige and classic cars require in terms of delivered service.
When I moved to Norfolk a number of years ago I couldn't find anywhere that provided specialised storage for cars. Having had an association for many years with a storage company in Surrey we figured we could learn from all that experience and provide an equally fantasic facility in East Anglia, which we did.
I've now been joined by my son, who has a passionate interest in cars and has gained a good knowledge, especially of newer cars. We have also relocated the business to the outskirts of Basingstoke—providing easy access by train (to Basingstoke), or by road from the M3.”
